The Faradite Motion Sensor 360 - IP67 - Volt Free (Dry Contact) is a 5-35V low profile, silent, discreet PIR (passive infrared) ceiling mounted motion sensor with an IP67 rating. 

Protruding only 3.5mm the IP67 ensures discrete motion sensing can be delivered in those more demanding areas such as bathrooms, gardens and outside spaces. 

The sensor can be used to automate lights in outside spaces, porches and bathrooms due to its IP67 rating. 

The sensor can be used with 5-35V home/building/lighting control systems that have volt free / dry contact inputs, such as Lutron, Crestron, Loxone and Control4.

REMOVE CABLES

To remove cables, insert the supplied SIM card remover tool into the slot above the cable terminal to release cable. 

FIRE RATED OPTIONS

The Fire IDR is specially made by Envirograf® to fire rate the Motion Sensor 360 range, according to BS476: Part 21 1987. 


The intumescent material expands in a fire, sealing the hole in the ceiling structure. With the Fire IDR fitted, the Motion Sensor 360 has a 60 minute fire rating. The height of the Fire IDR is 60mm.


 If you are installing the sensor in a fire rated ceiling then select the fire rated option and we will ship you the sensor and a Fire IDR.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION


INSTALLATION




To install the Faradite sensor, cut a 35mm hole using a suitable hole saw (40mm for fire rated). Fold the spring clips upwards and push through the hole.

5V-35V DC @ 24V (3mA)


CONNECTOR



Push fit screwless connector AWG 20- 24 suitable for CAT5 / CAT6 / CAT7.


RANGE / DETECTION AREA



Specified Range 5M / When mounted at a height of 3M, the sensor covers a 6M x 6M floor area. When mounted at 2.5M, it covers a floor area of 5M x 5M.

CAT 5/6

Ideal for CAT 5/6, simply strip the solid core wire and push into the connector

Faradite IP67 Motion Sensor 360 stranded cable entry gland

STRANDED CABLE

Works with Belden/alarm cable as with CAT cable; pierce the sealed cable entry, push the cable through ensuring the seal is tight around the cable. Strip cores, insert a small screwdriver or the provided tool to open the spring terminals and insert wire.
